ACCESS CONTROL and SECURITY:- 

  • Before receiving the keys to the unit, an indemnity / disclaimer document to be completed together with all the guests particulars.
  • Access only possible through the motor vehicle access gate, using the remote provided.
  • There is a 20 second time delay for the entrance gate to automatically close. Not required to remotely close after exit, as it will automatically close immediately after exit.
  • Electrical fence stay activated for 24 hours / day. When visiting the viewing deck, be aware to avoid accidental shock.
  • No hawkers allowed on the premises.


 ADDITIONAL VISITORS:- 

  • Management must be informed if/when you expect visitors.
  • Please advise visitors to report to management, before proceeding to your unit.
  • Unless pre-arranged with management, motor vehicles may not enter the premises. Ample parking available on the sidewalk.
  • Visitors are allowed until 22h00.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry to visitors at their discretion. Maximum occupancy (but not solely) of your unit,  will be considered.

 

CHECK-OUT PROCEDURE:- 

  • No key box is provided. The keys may not be left in the unit. The keys may only be returned to management.
  • Check-out is until 10h00 on the day of your departure. A late check-out fee of R150 will be charged  for every hour or part there-of, after 10h00.
  • Should you wish to leave earlier, please inform management the day before, in order to be prepared for the inventory check.
  • On check-out day, making of the beds are not required as linen will be collected soon after your departure.
  • Once loaded and ready  to leave, inform the management for the inventory check, before the refunding of the key and breakage deposit can be done.
  • Should you leave the unit in an unacceptable state of tidiness / cleanliness / hygiene, an additional charge of R350 will be incurred. This decision to the discretion of the management.

 

DOMESTIC ANIMALS:- 

  • No guests or visitors are allowed to bring any pet on the premises.


 DOMESTIC REFUSE:- 

  • Refuse bags are provided.
  • Please don't place refuse within or outside your unit except in the bins provided. Collection and removal will be done on Mondays and Fridays.

 

CLEANLINESS and HIGIENE:-

A daily cleaning service is not provided, and therefor not charged for. Since self catering, it is expected of the occupants to keep the flats in an acceptable state of cleanliness and hygiene. Should it not be the case, the owner will keep the right to deduct R350 from the key deposit, to assist in getting the unit to the same standard of cleanliness as it was during handover of the keys. Washing machines and tumble driers are not provided. There are a number of laundromats in town should the need arises.


GENERAL:- 

  • You have been allocated your very own undercover parking bay for both, your motor vehicle and trailer (if applicable).
  • No washing of motor vehicles are allowed. Suitable car washers available in the village.
  • No turning around of motor vehicles on drive-way. Please reverse to exit.
  • Fireworks and crackers are prohibited.
  • Open fires not allowed, unless in the designated braai's and boma.
  • Wood fires not allowed in the braai's. Only use briquets or charcoal specifically manufactured for braaiing purposes. Wood may be used for the fires in boma.
  • Please keep noise levels down after 10h00, as this is a residential area, and some neighbours may require the rest.
  • Please feel free to use all the facilities on the premises.

 

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY:- 

  • Each unit has a maximum occupancy number which may not be exceeded. Please refer to the web page for your units maximum occupancy number.
  • All the names of the party who occupies the unit must be declared to management on arrival. Only these declared guests may sleep over. Any undeclared guests, on discovery, will incur an additional cost of R500/person/night.
  • Failure to comply with the maximum occupancy number may result in management refusing you entry, or asking you to leave.


 NO SMOKING:- 

  • As per government legislation, smoking in, and around the covered entrances to the units, are strictly prohibited.
  • On this premises, please also consider the use of vape-ing equipment in the same light. Prohibited, as above.
  • The management consider this smoking clause as extremely important. Any person making him- / herself guilty of this will be subjected to a fine of R2000, or immediate termination of their stay.
  • Ensure that all smoking leftovers be placed in a separate bag before discarding it in the refuse bins.

 

IN THE UNIT:- 

  • Coffee, tea, sugar, milk, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid & dish cloth are only provided for the first evening's use.
  • Any personal hygiene requirements to be provided by the guests themselves.
  • We sincerely hope you will be comfortable and feel at home in your unit. We also hope that you will value the furniture and equipment in the unit as if it's your own, avoiding damage or breakages.
  • Rearranging or moving around of any furniture items are strictly prohibited, and will be met with the disrespect it deserves. Should the responsible person allow this to happen, he- / she will be subjected to a  penalty of R2000, or immediate termination of their stay.
  • When using the spa-bath, fill up with enough water to ensure that the jets are submerged completely under the water before activating. When using the spa-bath, the amount of water from the geyser may have an effect on the time delay for the next person to have a hot shower, as both are fed from the same geyser.
  • No washing machine or tumble drier provided. Suitable Laundromats available in the village.
  • External washing lines provided. Please do not hang wet clothing / towels over furniture or door knobs.
  • Electrical fans, lights and any other electrical equipment which will not be in use when you leave the unit must be switched off before leaving the unit.
  • External electrical lights to be switched off when not in use.
  • Any discrepancies found in the unit should be reported to management within 24 hours of your arrival, so that it can be sorted out.
  • Any broken, damaged or missing items not indicated on the inventory checklist will be charged for.


 LINEN CHANGE:- Linen are provided. 

  • Weekend stay (Friday to Monday)      - no linen change.
  • Midweek stay (Monday to Friday)       - no linen change.
  • Full week stay                                           - no linen change.
  • Longer stays                                             - # linen change every 7th day.

TOWEL CHANGE:- Bath towels are provided. Swimming and beach towels are not provided. 

  • Weekend stay (Friday to Monday)      - no towel change.
  • Midweek stay (Monday to Friday)       - no towel change.
  • Full week stay (Friday to Friday)          - # towel change on 4th day.
  • Longer stays                                             - # towel change every 5th day.

NATURE AND ANIMAL LIFE:- 

  • The removal of plants and trees are prohibited.
  • No interference of bird or wildlife is allowed.
  • Please do not feed any wild animals.

 

SWIMMING POOL:- 

  • Please ensure that children are supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Diving not allowed. Especially from the fountain wall.
  • Unit towels not allowed around the pool. Please make use of your own swimming towels.
  • When returning from the beach ensure to brush off the excessive sand before entering the pool.
  • During June, July and August, the pool will be heated. This will be handled by the management. Please refrain from adjusting the heater equipment.

 

DEPOSIT:- 

All deposits to confirm a booking, are 50% of the full value of the reservation. Any other value to a deposit, can only be achieved by pre-arrangement with- and approval of management. This will only be a temporary arrangement until the full 50% of the booking value has been paid as the deposit. The management will however, in any further dealings with the guest, consider the "deposit" as 50% of the full value of the reservation.


RESERVATION CANCELLATION:- 

If a booking can not be fulfilled, the guest must immediately inform management, and provide reasons, in writing.

The following cancellation values are applicable, and will be deducted from the deposit:-

50% [on any cancellation]

75% [if cancelled within 2 months before arrival]

100% [if cancelled within 1 month before arrival]

50% [* if Force Majeure applies - ie. government rulings, natural disasters - where a contractual party can not fulfill obligations, after alternative options was considered].

R250 [" - administration fee]

* In case of Force Majeure, like government rulings and natural disasters, the parties, both the Guests and Seventy-5 Broadway, will be subjected to exactly the same concerns and trauma.  Both will be subjected to unplanned disruptions, trauma and eventual financial losses. Seventy-5 Broadway will attempt to accommodate the guest in the best way possible, in return for the guest to understand that Seventy-5 Broadway will have multiple guests to attend to:-

  • The guest must re-apply for a similar booking arrangement on a different date.
  • The re-application must be done within 7 days of the declaration / happening.
  • Date adjustment, when approved, will only be allowed once.
  • Date adjustment must be for the same calendar year (or as agreed with management in writing).
  • Availability and all factors involved, will be considered in the approval.

Although Seventy-5 Broadway will make the necessary attempts to accommodate the guest with alternate arrangements as mentioned above, the management however, is under no obligation to accept or approve any such application for re-booking, or cancellation.


CONSTRUCTIVE CRIME PREVENTION:-

You can make a positive contribution to the prevention of crime whilst on holiday by following the suggestions below:- 

  • Keep firearms in a safe place. Not on the bedside table, or in the motor vehicle.
  • Lock valuables away in the safe (where provided).
  • Ensure all doors locked and windows closed before going out.
  • Don't leave valuables / money unattended while occupied elsewhere, like in the pool or at the braai.
  • Always lock your motor vehicle, and don't leave items lying around inside. Rather lock it away in the boot.
  • Avoid ostentatious displays of expensive jewellery, cameras and other valuables.
  • It is not advisable to carry large sums of money around.
  • As soon as you discover that a crime has been committed, report it to the police immediately.
